Friday’s big outdoor concert takes Lubbock south to Cook’s Garage.

Koe Wetzel’s October 30 stop brings Wade Bowen and Kolby Cooper onto the same bill, giving country fans three reasons to make a night of it.

The event is listed for 6:45 p.m., with doors opening at 4:45 p.m.

Those are the advertised event and door times, not separately confirmed performance times for the three artists.

For readers comparing weekend options, that distinction matters: an early arrival is a better plan than assuming the headliner begins when the listing does.

Cook’s Garage is at 11002 U.S. 87 in Lubbock, and this show is listed for the outdoor stage.

The setting makes weather part of the evening’s planning.

The National Weather Service’s late-Wednesday outlook calls for rain and thunderstorms around Thursday night and Friday, with a warmer, drier weekend to follow.

Check the latest forecast and organizer updates before leaving; conditions can change after this guide is prepared.

The ticket listing describes the event as rain or shine, but that wording should never replace weather alerts or instructions from event staff.

A little preparation will save time at the gate.

The organizer lists a clear-bag policy and no re-entry, so review the ticket page before packing or making plans to leave and return.

Check your particular ticket’s seating and chair rules rather than assuming every area has the same arrangements.

Use the official ticket listing for current availability and prices; this guide does not promise that a particular ticket tier will remain available.

With a sizable outdoor bill, the practical recommendation is simple: settle travel plans early, leave room for arrival, and keep the official event page handy.

If a full concert night is not your pace, the smaller-stage choices in our weekend guide offer another way to hear live music close to home.
